About
Jorge A. Gómez Orozco, known as “Cocke,” is a renowned Colombian artist whose work has traveled the world for more than three decades. From an early age, his passion for painting and drawing ignited a lifelong quest to blend classical Renaissance aesthetics with modern artistic expressions. After formal studies in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Photography, he expanded his horizons in Spain and France, immersing himself in art history and engaging with masterworks at premier museums.
Since the 1990s, Cocke has participated in over a hundred exhibitions throughout Latin America and Europe. His art is characterized by a classical foundation—shaped by Renaissance forms and movements like Impressionism, Expressionism, and Cubism—that merges heritage with innovation to create a distinctive visual language. Horses and the human figure are recurring motifs that channel powerful emotions, while magical landscapes and symbolic elements weave through his compositions, reflecting his unrelenting pursuit of perfection.
Celebrated for his equestrian paintings, Cocke’s vibrant and evocative pieces captivate audiences worldwide. Currently residing in Andover, Massachusetts, with his family, he remains dedicated to evolving his craft and exploring art’s transformative power.
